These terms apply when you use Amorby, made by Vít Stöckl, Czech Republic (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Who can use Amorby
You must be at least 16. One account per person; each shared space is for two people. Keep your password and your recovery code safe — you’re responsible for what happens in your account.
Your content
Everything you add stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it and show it to you and your partner. Because your memories are end-to-end encrypted, we can’t see or moderate them — and we can’t recover them if you lose all your devices and your recovery code, so export a copy now and then (Settings → Download everything).
Don’t use Amorby for anything illegal, to harass anyone, or to share content you have no right to share (including intimate images of someone without their consent). Don’t try to break, overload or reverse the security of the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Ads and “Remove ads”
Amorby is free and shows small non-personalized ads. The optional one-time “Remove ads” purchase removes them for both partners in your shared space, for as long as the service runs. Payments, refunds and restoring purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. Your legal rights as an EU consumer are not affected.
The service
We work hard to keep Amorby running and your memories safe, but it is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or add features. If we ever shut Amorby down, we’ll tell you at least 60 days in advance so you can export everything.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.
Ending
You can delete your account any time in Settings. If a couple splits, either partner can close the shared space after both have had the chance to save a copy.
Law and contact
Czech law applies, without taking away the protection of the consumer law of your country. Questions or complaints: hello@amorby.app. If we change these terms in an important way, we’ll let you know in the app first.
